Looking through the lens...
Received a very late desperate call from a friend (at 12 pm to be exact) to help out the makeup team on 'L'Assenza' two weeks ago so I kindly obliged (having to rummage and clean my kit haphazardly) and wake up five hours later!
The team were all incredibly talented, hard working and lovely to talk to, I think the finished product is going to be outstanding. They shot in B&W possibly 35 mm, and it was set in the 1920s so it had a distinct period feel.
The costume played a big part...
Also lovely to work with this cheeky chappie again - Stephen Mangan!
I had previously worked with him on 'Episodes' that is more known in the U.S and is due to film it's next series in L.A next year.
Scrutinizing every move...
Once more the producer, Carey Born, was more than accommodating and welcoming with her team and I truly wish to work with her again.
They're set to film again in December and in Paris, very exciting.
